"Forgotten Heroes"

This quilt tells the story of my husband's wartime experience in South Vietnam.

On the 21st May 1970 he was wounded, returned to Australia, never to meet his wartime friends again until 2002. This quilt and quilt story have been published in the July 2004 edition of 'Quilters Companion', January 2005 edition of the Australian War Memorial magazine 'War Time', and featured on the ABC Australian Story in July 2005.

"I Love Quilting"

This small wholecloth quilt was entered into The Quilters Guild of NSW Inc 2006 exhibition.

This quilt is made from 100% cotton, Hobbs Poly down batting and quilted with grey Signature quilting thread.  Taking approx. 2 months to make - many many hours of quilting plus a few hours removing stitches!!  Size - 70cm x 58cm.

I was lucky enough to gain 3rd prize in the "Small Quilt" category and also received the "Best Hand Quilting (amateur)" award.
