I established Threads and Things in July 2002.

After becoming frustrated with not being able to purchase the most basic of sewing requirements at my local shopping centre I decided that other women must be experiencing the same problem.

Shops supply a wide range of fabrics and classes but have a very limited selection of sewing notions.

After extensive research I have been able to source a huge selection of notions from suppliers Australia wide and overseas. Everything that you need can now be found in one place.
